John and Mary Gentekos Memorial Scholarship

The John and Mary Gentekos Memorial Scholarship Award was established by Dennis Gentekos, Frank Gentekos, Richard Prentice, and Thomas Barnabie to encourage students to pursue careers in accounting at 2-year and 4-year institutions. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester.
To be eligible, the student must meet the criteria below:

1. Be an accounting major or a general business major

a. Must have taken Accounting 101 or 102 and earned a minimum grade of A or B in either class

2. Be a full-time student, and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

3. Have completed and earned a minimum of 24 credits

4. Applicants must file a financial aid application (FAFSA), although applicants do not have to receive aid to be eligible
