James P Diskin Memorial Scholarship

The James P. Diskin Memorial Scholarship, named for a beloved faculty member of the Mathematics department, will award $4,275 to a deserving student in one of the following majors: Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering Science, or Secondary Education: Math/Science. Applicant must complete the Associates Degree by late summer (summer II) and be transferring to a four-year institution to pursue a baccalaureate degree in math or a math related field. Additionally, applicant should have successfully completed at least two Math courses 171 or above, demonstrate high academic achievement, display strong character and community involvement. Scholarship funds will be transferred directly to the recipient’s transfer institution. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications by March 30th.
