Adelante! Scholarship

The Adelante! Scholarship awards multiple students pursuing an associate degree at Community College of Philadelphia who are bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English. Two full-time students will receive $1,500 each and two part-time students will receive $1,000 each. To be eligible, applicants must have earned a minimum of 12 credits, possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, be U.S. citizens, speak Spanish/English and must not be graduating in the current academic year. Interested students must complete the online scholarship application, including a faculty recommendation or a letter of recommendation. Finalists are required to participate in an interview, which will be conducted in English and Spanish. Scholarship funds will be applied directly to the recipients’ spring tuition account.
