The Gertrude Baker Trust Scholarship

The Gertrude Baker Trust Scholarship will provide tuition assistance to five June 2023 high school graduates who enroll at the College in fall 2023 or who reside in the Germantown/Mount Airy section of Philadelphia. The Gertrude Baker Trust Scholarship will award students up to $2,000 each for the spring 2024 semester. Students are encouraged to apply by November 1.

To be considered for the Gertrude Baker Trust Scholarship, applicants must meet the criteria below:
Must be enrolled at Community college of Philadelphia in fall 2023,
Must be pursuing an associate degree,
Must be enrolled full-time (12 or more credits),
Must be Pell-eligible,
Must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5,
Students who reside in the Germantown or Mount Airy sections of Philadelphia (19119, 19144), OR, who are June 2023 high school graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
