David A. Schu Memorial Scholarship

The David A. Schu Memorial Scholarship recognizes students who have been impacted by or demonstrate a commitment to issues of addiction and/or sexual identity. The scholarship, which honors the memory of Community College of Philadelphia student David A. Schu, provides one student up to $1,000 for the spring semester. Applicants may be full-time or part-time, must have completed at least one semester at the College, and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Students working with the Office of Collegiate Recovery or the College’s MarcDavid LGBTQ Center are strongly encouraged to apply.
