Thomas W. Langfitt, Jr. Memorial Award for Volunteer Community Service

The Thomas W. Langfitt, Jr. Memorial Award for Volunteer Community Service was established to recognize one student annually who demonstrates the ability to achieve in academic and community endeavors, and who has overcome barriers on the way to success. One scholarship award of up to $1,500 will assist a student in pursuing his/her educational or career goals. Applicants must complete all of the requirements for the associate’s degree by May 2024 and possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Applicants must be involved in community/volunteer endeavors. Finalists must interview with the selection committee. Interested students are encouraged to apply by April 1.
