Harold E. Kohn Memorial Scholarship

Through the Harold E. Kohn Scholarship, the College’s Nursing department provides financial support to students pursuing an associate degree in Nursing. Interested nursing students must complete the General Scholarship Application. Eligible applicants must be Philadelphia residents and entering the second year of the College’s Nursing curriculum and possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (B) with a C in NURS 132 or a 2.8 or higher with a B in NURS 132 (grades are used to determine grade point average). Applicants must file a financial aid application (FAFSA) by April 14th regardless of economic status. Selection of the recipients is competitive.  Awards are announced in June. One scholarship totaling $3,600 will be disbursed to the recipient September through April. Interested students must submit their General Scholarship Application by May 9.
