Madelyne Baldwin Memorial Scholarship for Nursing Students

The Madelyne Baldwin Memorial Scholarship for Nursing Students honors the memory of a fierce advocate for lifelong learning and a compassionate nurse for over 50 years who voiced concerns about the racial inequities in the health care system. This scholarship will recognize two, second year nursing students with $500 scholarships each; one awarded to a student in the Post Baccalaureate Accelerated Associate Degree option and one to a student in the Advanced Placement option. Eligible students must be in the second year of the Nursing program and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Scholarship funds will be applied directly to recipients’ tuition accounts in the spring semester. Students do not need to submit the General Scholarship Application, scholarship recipients will be selected by the Nursing faculty.
