Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia Scholarship
The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia supports, promotes and protects the common interests of the franchised new car and truck dealers of Greater Philadelphia by providing services and programs, disseminating information, enhancing dealership image and pooling collective influence for the benefit of its members. The Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia Scholarship provides scholarships, $500 to two students or $1,000 to one student, enrolled in the Automobile Technology program at Community College of Philadelphia.
Priority will be given to graduating high school seniors who participated in the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia Student Tech Competition in February. Those students will be awarded $500 each upon verification of enrollment in Community College of Philadelphia’s Automobile Technology Program. Remaining funds will provide a scholarship(s) of up to $1,000 to be awarded to a Community College of Philadelphia student enrolled in the college’s Automobile Technology program who:
Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, Have applied for graduation and plan to participate in the May graduation ceremony, Will enroll in either AT 221 (Advanced Electrical), or AT 281 (Advanced Engine Performance) during their final summer session, Will complete the requirements for the associate degree in Automobile Technology by August 30th.- Award
