Dr. Lorraine H. Brown Scholarship in Memory of the Floyd Family
The Community College of Philadelphia Foundation is pleased to announce the Dr. Lorraine H. Brown Scholarship in Memory of the Floyd Family. This award will provide tuition scholarships, with a maximum award of up to $2,000 each, for up to 5 students pursuing associate’s degrees at Community College of Philadelphia. Scholarship funds will be disbursed equally over two semesters and applied directly to each student’s tuition account upon confirmation of enrollment at Community College of Philadelphia. African-American students are encouraged to apply.
Minimum eligibility requirements:
Applicant must be continuing his/her studies in fall 2017/spring 2018 Applicant must be enrolled in a STEM, STEM-related major, Nursing or Education major Applicant must possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 Applicant must have earned a minimum of 24 credits at the College Applicant may be full-time or part-time, but must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester Applicant must be a Philadelphia resident or have Permanent Residency status- Award
