AAWCC/P Book Award

The Community College of Philadelphia’s Chapter of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC/P) will provide one (or more students, depending on funding) with book scholarships valued at $100 each. Awards are distributed to a new student (or students) each fall and spring semester. The book scholarship is for use at the College Bookstores. To be eligible, students must have earned 12 or more credits at the College, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, and participate in community service activities.

Recipients of the AAWCC/P Book Award will be asked to participate in the organization (example: attend one of the AAWCC/P Business Meetings, volunteer at AAWCC/P’s annual Spring Networking and Fundraising event, or other event). Interested candidates should submit their application by November 1.
